ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After a hot day across New Mexico, it’s going to get a little hotter but some relief could be coming to the Land of Enchantment.
Temperatures topped out at around 104 degrees Wednesday in places like Roswell and Carlsbad. Places like Socorro and Alamogordo also saw their first 100-degree day while Albuquerque topped off at 96 degrees.
The heatwave continues Thursday. A breezy, dry, less hot front is still on track to slide south across the eastern side of the state throughout the day. It won’t impact everyone. In fact, it’s going to get stuck just north of the Southeastern Plains, which will help crank temperatures up…
