BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (WNYT) — The man accused of robbing and running over a 76-year-old woman in the parking lot of a McDonald’s has rejected a plea deal.
Joseph Hess is accused of stealing a purse from a 76-year-old woman in the parking lot of the Ballston McDonald’s on Oct. 16, 2025 and then running her over as he drove away in a stolen car.
Hess is charged with robbery and assault. Hess was in court late this afternoon and told prosecutors he would not accept an offer that would have sent him to prison for 23 years…
