Duke: Hundreds without power as storms move through the Upstate

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Duke Energy reported that hundreds of customers across the Upstate are without power Sunday afternoon.

A First Alert Weather Day was declared for storms and high winds moving through the region.

Officials reported the following outages as of 1:35 p.m.:

  • Greenville County: 1,672 customers without power
  • Pickens County: 299 customers without power
  • Oconee County: 315 customers without power
  • Anderson County: 85 customers without power

The estimated time for restoration in most counties is 2:30 p.m., according to the power company. Customers in Greenville County should see power return around 6:15 p.m…
