White Mountain Grill, a father-and-son-owned, kosher restaurant in Cleveland Heights has closed down less than a year after moving its operations from the basement of their home in Beachwood to 2078 S. Taylor Road.
The restaurant sits vacant, with a few tables and chairs along with soda coolers, some with beverages still in them, visible in the space. There is no signage visible on the storefront or on the windows.
On the front door, an official notice and order from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health ordered the restaurant closed for operating without a valid food license. The notice is made out to Edward Talis, who owns the site, according to Cuyahoga County property records, and is dated May 7.
