The City of Spartanburg will mark Juneteenth with two public events downtown: a Friday night block party on S. Daniel Morgan Avenue and a Saturday celebration festival at Barnet Park.
The Juneteenth Block Party is scheduled for Friday, June 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. on S. Daniel Morgan Avenue. The Juneteenth Celebration Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Barnet Park, 248 East St. John St. in Spartanburg.
