AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County School System is monitoring possible severe weather in coordination with emergency management officials and the National Weather Service.
All summer schools, summer camps and offices will operate on an early release schedule Thursday:
- 11 a.m. — Elementary schools
- 11:45 a.m. — High schools
- 12:30 p.m. — Middle schools and summer camps
All extracurricular activities, after-school programs and evening events scheduled for Thursday are canceled and school district police officers will remain on duty and continue supporting school operations until all students have been transported safely to their destinations.
