YUBA CITY, Calif. — A two-month narcotics and firearms investigation led to the arrest of 8 people and the seizure of illegal drugs, weapons, and ammunition across Sutter County, Marysville, and Sacramento.
According to the Special Investigations Unit, the investigation centered around 54-year-old Shane Mosley of Yuba City, who was suspected of trafficking illegal narcotics and possessing firearms. Mosley was on active Post Release Community Supervision probation out of Sacramento County.
On June 11, investigators with help from the Yuba City Police Department, Marysville Police Department, and Sacramento Police Department served 5 search warrants at locations in Sutter County, Marysville, and Sacramento. During the searches, investigators seized approximately 324.98 grams of methamphetamine, 274 suspected counterfeit fentanyl pills, powdered fentanyl, digital scales, narcotics packaging materials, and pill manufacturing items…
