NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man is facing an aggravated assault charge after police say a dispute over a French bulldog ended with a woman being run over by an SUV in Nashville in April, according to police.
An arrest affidavit states that Errick Taylor Mayfield is facing charges after an incident in late April.
The affidavit states that the dispute began after Mayfield gave a French bulldog to the victim in January because he allegedly no longer wanted the dog. The victim later took the dog to a veterinarian and paperwork showed she was the current owner, according to police…
