WESTERN WASHINGTON — The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for several counties across western Washington in anticipation of more record heat for June, and with it comes a heightened risk of heat-related illness.
The advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. Monday through 11 p.m. Wednesday. The region will likely experience hot conditions with temperatures expected around or above 85 to 90 degrees, which will significantly increase the risk of heat exhaustion, cramps, stroke and more, NWS said.
