Antioch family’s Father’s Day trip turns dangerous after water bottle crashes through windshield

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Father’s Day weekend trip to see family turned into a close call for an Antioch couple after what is believed to have been a water bottle crashed through their car windshield Saturday.

Tim Morris was driving separately from his wife, Caroline Morris, who followed in a second car with their two young children just after 5 p.m. The family had just turned down Pettus Road from Old Hickory when Tim heard a loud bang.

“It was loud crack and then the confusion of why am I soaking wet he had water from head to toe,” Caroline Morris said.
