LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — More than 40 organizations gathered at a church in Lansing Thursday afternoon to help renters, homeowners, homebuyers and others looking for housing.
They were gathered for the Ingham County Housing Resource Fair, where attendees had the chance to meet with housing providers, lenders, real estate professionals, legal services and community groups.
Organizers told 6 News the goal was to help people learn about available housing resources, get answers to questions and connect with services that support housing stability and homeownership.
“Really a great gathering of over 45 community partners and trusted housing partners that really have a lot of resources together in one place,” said Diana Bartlett with the Ingham County Housing Trust Fund. “There continues to be inequities in who’s able to buy a home, and we’re really just trying to address those barriers.”…
