Beloit man arrested after search finds 700 grams of cocaine, deputies say

BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – A 31-year-old man faces several charges after a search of a home revealed 700 grams of cocaine, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office says.

Angel Rivera, of Beloit, is charged with

  • two counts of manufacture/ distribute cocaine – 15 to 40 grams
  • attempted manufacture/ distribute cocaine while armed – 15 to 40 grams
  • possession with intent to manufacture/ distribute cocaine – greater than 40 grams
  • three counts of maintain drug trafficking vehicle
  • maintain drug trafficking residence
  • possession of THC
  • possession of drug paraphernalia

Around 8 p.m., June 24, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit conducted a search warrant in the 1100 block of Vine Street in the City of Beloit.

Investigators say the items seized includes 700 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of THC, $6,500 U.S. Currency and one GLOCK pistol…
