Teso Life Opens Store in Downtown Boston

Teso Life (Queens, N.Y.), a fast-growing Asian lifestyle chain, has opened its latest store, in Boston’s Downtown Crossing, The Boston Globe reports. The three-story retail complex, left vacant in 2021 by Forever 21, is the brand’s first in New England.

The 20,000-square-foot space, at 459 Washington St., sells Japanese, Korean and Chinese snacks, beauty and skincare products, toys, home goods and other specialty items. The retailer has built a following for its mix of imported products, trending beauty brands and blind-box collectibles, The Globe noted.

Teso Life’s debut marks another addition to the stretch along Washington Street in Downtown Crossing that has seen renewed momentum in recent years, the newspaper reports. Earlier this spring, Uniqlo opened a store at 399 Washington St. in a space that had sat vacant for two decades…
