GRAND ISLAND, NY — The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire at a home on Grand Island that happened Saturday night.
According to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, deputies and firefighters responded to the home 3709 East River Road shortly after 8:45 p.m. Smoke from the fire could be seen billowing across the Niagara River.
When crews arrived they determined no one was inside the home and the owner’s dogs had already been removed…
