(FOX40.COM) — A suspected shoplifter fled to a house in Arden Park on Monday, leading to a standoff with law enforcement.
At about 11:30 a.m., a bystander saw the suspect shoplifting from a local store, a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. When the man attempted to talk to the suspect, the alleged shoplifter swung a metal scooter at the bystander, injuring him.
