AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – It is summertime, and that means students are out of school, but for some, that means facing the uncertainty of food insecurity as meals that were provided at school are no longer available. That is where two local organizations are stepping in to help with that.
Fill with Hope said since June 1st, they have been doing their lunch program. Every Thursday, they are out providing Hope-Totes to every student who needs one.
