The City of Buffalo is encouraging residents to take precautions, as high temperatures and dangerous heat continue across Western New York, by utilizing the municipality’s cooling centers and staying hydrated.
“With extreme heat expected this week, we’re asking residents to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their families,” Mayor Sean Ryan said. “If you don’t have access to air conditioning, please visit one of our cooling centers, drink plenty of water, avoid prolonged time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day, and check in on older neighbors and loved ones.”…
