AUSTIN, Texas — A man has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for a 2024 murder in northeast Austin.
The Travis County District Attorney’s Office said on June 25, a jury convicted 38-year-old Carlos Maldonado-Martinez of murder in connection with the death of 35-year-old Wilfredo Beneitez-Jimenez on May 22, 2024.
