Making the trip to Colorado to bury her father, Tammy drove through New Mexico last week from California, bringing her father’s ashes with her. After staying overnight at the Best Western off I-25 near Paseo, Blevins said her nightmare scenario took place. “We came down around 7:30, and we discovered the back window of our vehicle had been smashed, and that’s when we found the items had been taken.”
She said whoever did it broke in around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, stealing the ashes, which were inside of an urn made to look like cowboy boots…
