Oregon’s Navarre Avenue Safety Improvement project is now in Phase 3 and will connect previous work that started at I-280, city officials said.
The $6 million project is creating a variety of safety improvements along Navarre between Isaac Streets Drive and Coy Road. Deputy City Engineer Rodney Shultz said the goal is to reduce crashes and improve overall safety for motorists, pedestrians, and nearby businesses.
“The first two phases were really stand alone. Phase 3 is just closing the gap between the two,” said Public Service Director Paul Roman. “The improvements now will be continuous from I-280 all the way to Coy Road.”…
