An apple box has nearly limitless uses. Need a quick boost in height? Step on top. Need a seat? It works for that, too. The Apple Box creative space above the Garland Theater was built with that same versatility in mind.
Founder Daniel Schaefer and the group We F.E.W! (Filmmakers of Eastern Washington) have created an all-in-one filmmaker gathering place in Spokane, making the idea of being inside the box not such a bad thing after all.
