It’s too hot out even for ice cream: Heat wave forces holiday event changes

“It’s getting hot in here.” No, seriously — and in at least two cases, it’s even too hot for ice cream.

Many events have been planned to help celebrate the Fourth of July and America’s 250th birthday, but an unexpected visitor, a heat wave, has started to put a damper on celebrations across the Northeast.
