Chicago man jailed, charged with dealing fentanyl

PAXTON — A Chicago man charged in Ford County with possession of 400-900 grams of fentanyl with intent to deliver will remain in the county jail as he awaits trial.

Rashawn A. Carter, 50, of Chicago, was charged in Ford County Circuit Court on Friday, June 26, with one count each of manufacture/delivery of 400-900 grams of fentanyl, aggravated battery to a peace officer and aggravated driving on a revoked/suspended driver’s license, according to online court records.
