A Coastal Bend TV reporter is signing off after three years of covering rural South Texas communities.
KRIS 6 neighborhood reporter Melissa Trevino announced in a recent video shared to Facebook that she is “moving on to a different part of my journalistic career.” Her final day at the Corpus Christi station was Tuesday.
“I wanted to say thank you for allowing me to come into your homes to tell your stories,” Trevino said. “Thank you for allowing me to be your voice. It’s a dream come true for this rural town community reporter to be able to have the confidence that you guys have instilled in me to become a better journalist.”
