NYISO Energy Watch ends

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — With the high heat comes high demand on New York State’s power grid.

The New York Independent System Operator, which oversees the electricity grid, issued an Energy Watch on Thursday.

The state is at low energy supply as of Thursday evening, meaning operating reserves are declining. Residents are suggested to conserve power, if safe to do so.
