A Heat Advisory remains in effect for all of Western New York until 8 p.m. Friday. An Extreme Heat Warning is in place for Niagara and Orleans counties until 8 p.m. Friday.
Hot temperatures and high humidity can lead to heat-related illnesses. Residents are urged to drink plenty of fluids, spend time in air-conditioned rooms, and stay out of the sun when possible.
