SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) announced it is searching for an incarcerated man who fled from the Male Community Reentry Program in San Diego on Thursday afternoon.
At around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, CDCR staff received a tamper alert indicating that Randy Seitzinger, 70, an incarcerated man, had reportedly removed his GPS device while on an approved community medical pass.
Staff launched an emergency count, which confirmed Seitzinger was missing. CDCR’s Office of Correctional Safety and local law enforcement are assisting in the search.
According to law enforcement, Seitzinger is described as 5-foot-8 and weighing approximately 191 pounds. He has a light complexion and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a light-colored short-sleeved shirt…
