AUSTIN (KXAN) — It has been almost one year since deadly floods hit Central Texas, leaving behind a wake of destruction.
Since then, millions of dollars have been raised to help people who were impacted, but with so many people still needing help, relief efforts continue.
“When FEMA came through they declared it a complete and total loss,” said Lauren Sandy, who lost her home during last year’s flooding and heavy rain. “You can see how all the joints are bent from all the water damage so the house is collapsing.”…
