MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Several roads are closed throughout Montgomery County after severe storms knocked over trees and utility poles on Saturday.

In posts to X around 8 p.m. by the Montgomery County Department of Police, officers said the 6300 block of Damascus Road and the 5000 block of Griffith Road are closed until further notice.
Additionally, Rocky Road closed from Woodfield Road to Rt. 108 is closed.
