Town officials have made a sound decision to wait until fall to celebrate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
While honoring the nation’s milestone on our July 4 would be a great idea in many parts of the country, in Palm Beach postponing the big event makes perfect sense.
After all, many of the town’s residents head to other homes or vacation destinations during the summer — including Independence Day — and don’t return to the island until fall…
