NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested and now faces multiple charges after arrest records say he threatened someone with an axe over loud music over the July 4 holiday weekend.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to the Percy Priest Lake Overlook parking lot on Sunday, July 5, to investigate an assault call.
A man told the officers that 55-year-old Curtis Russell was angry about loud music being played, so he began demanding that the volume be lowered while “cussing” and yelling “racial slurs.”…
