AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The timeline for the Broad Street Improvement Project in downtown Augusta has shifted, with pipework upgrades pushing the schedule back by at least a month.
Large concrete pipes have begun appearing along Broad Street as part of sewer and stormwater infrastructure improvements. According to the city, the work takes place underground and will not affect water service or restroom access for downtown businesses.
