Police identify woman killed in pedestrian crash in downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The woman killed in a June pedestrian crash has been identified, police said.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, 50-year-old Taramon Diane Lopez was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Silverado shortly before midnight on June 27.

Police said the investigation to this point showed Lopez was struck while walking in a lane of travel. The 27-year-old driver of the Silverado remained on the scene to render aid to Lopez until authorities arrived…
