A suburban daycare teacher was arrested and charged with aggravated battery to a child, with officials saying she struck a child in the stomach multiple times.
According to a news release, the alleged incident occurred July 2 at Kiddie Academy Day Care of Park Ridge, located at 109 S. Washington Ave.
Police in Park Ridge said they received reports from the daycare director and the victim’s parent that a child had been struck in the stomach earlier in the day.
