CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Firefighters with the St. Andrews Fire Department responded to a fire at the Bees Ferry Dump Monday morning that took hours to extinguish, according to officials.
They state that in the trash, a deep seated wind driven trash fire burned, prompting a several hour emergency response. Both the St. Andrews fire department and the Charleston Fire Department responded to the scene after the fire was reported by dispatch at approximately 6 a.m.
