Springfield, Missouri – Women For Gun Rights Missouri (WGR-MO) is proud to announce a full day of free educational presentations on school safety and active shooter response featuring subject matter expert Ed Monk on Thursday, July 30, at the Hatch Auditorium at The Library Center in Springfield.
Designed for parents, educators, school administrators, school board members, legislators, law enforcement officers, and concerned citizens, the event will provide practical, research-based information on active shooter incidents and strategies to help schools better protect students and staff.
The day includes three presentation sessions:
- 8:30 a.m. – Noon:School-Focused Summary of the Active Shooter Problem & How to Minimize Victims
- 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.:Critical Law Enforcement Lessons Learned from Active Shooter Attacks
- 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.:School-Focused Summary of the Active Shooter Problem & How to Minimize Victims (repeat)
