ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police say an armed and dangerous man is on the run after a late April shooting in Albemarle County sent a person to the hospital.
At about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, officers with the Albemarle County Police Department (ACPD) were dispatched to the 600 block of Lockesley Terrace after someone called 911, saying they were in distress and needed help.
When they arrived, officers found blood and property damage from gunshots, but no victim. They soon learned that an unidentified victim had been taken to a local hospital with serious injuries…
