A Winston-Salem man was arrested in Davie County on Friday, June 28, after deputies investigated a stolen motorcycle and found it in the man’s possession.
Deputies initially received a report of a motorcycle that had been reported stolen in Stokes County on June 28, according to a release. The motorcycle, valued at approximately $10,000, had reportedly been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as stolen.
“Acting on information developed during the investigation, deputies located the motorcycle at a residence on Calvin Lane in Mocksville, where it was found concealed under a tarp. Deputies confirmed through NCIC that the motorcycle matched the stolen vehicle reported out of Stokes County,” wrote the sheriff’s office in a release…
