Romo’s Pizza adding second Voorheesville location

VOORHEESVILLE — Glenmont-based Romo’s Pizza is opening a second location in the village to better handle the takeout and delivery demand that has taxed the capacity of Anthony’s by Romo’s Pizza, which opened in the village at the beginning of last year.

Owner Anthony Berghela confirmed the news Tuesday. An August opening is projected, he said.

Berghela said the menu will be closer to what is offered at Romo’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Glenmont than at Anthony’s by Romo’s. The name of the new business is undecided, but may be something like Romo’s to Go, he said. It is taking over a space in the Hannaford plaza at 5 Maple Road vacated in the spring when Brick House Pizza closed after about 15 years to move to the former Sainato’s Market & Deli building on Quail Street in Albany…
