A valuable wildfire-fighting resource designed to help helicopters refill in seconds now sits in an unexpected spot, right behind an Inland Empire neighborhood and near a high school.
The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District added a HeloPod at the Banyan Fire Station off Milliken Avenue and Banyan Street, near Los Osos High School. “HeloPod, welcome to the neighborhood!” the Fire District posted on Facebook Wednesday.
