BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The suspect accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old in Burlington has been found guilty of murder and other charges on Wednesday in Alamance County court.
Ruben Torralba-Barajas, who was tried as an adult, was found guilty of first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a firearm, first-degree kidnapping and larceny. He was found not guilty of robbery with a firearm.
For first-degree murder and attempted robbery, he was sentenced to life with parole after 25 years. For first-degree kidnapping and misdemeanor larceny, he was sentenced to 5 to 7 years…
