San Antonio residents are split on whether Gina Ortiz Jones is doing a good job in office — at least according to a new poll from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
UTSA’s Center for Public Opinion Research found that 17% of poll respondents approved of her job performance versus 22% who disapproved. Another 28% neither approved nor disapproved of how she’s leading the nation’s sixth-largest city.
“While Jones has now been in office for one year, a substantial share of residents continued to express neutral opinions or uncertainty, suggesting many are still forming evaluations of the new mayor,” states the center’s most recent report…
