COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (WOWT) – More than 600 athletes from across the country are competing this week in the U.S. National Twirling Championships at the Mid-America Center.
For Omaha native Lauren Feltner, a collegiate baton twirler, the event hits close to home — literally.
“It is so fun being able to stay at my home and just come to this competition that’s 20 minutes away,” Feltner said.
