OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Expect to see more activity in Omaha’s Levi Carter Park. A 115,000-square-foot activity and sports complex is near completion, and the newly hired director says the facility is a game changer.
State and local officials broke ground in April of last year. The complex is expected to be complete sometime in October. City officials say the $45 million facility is fully funded by grant dollars.
What’s inside
The exterior of the complex includes four artificial turf soccer fields, new cookout shelters and a grand lawn.
