ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has announced an investigation into third-party organizations that have mailed voter registration paperwork to people who are dead or can’t vote.
On Thursday, the Secretary of State’s Office said it has received several reports of the problematic invitations — including one sent to “Sheba,” who turned out to be a pet dog who had died.
