NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston detectives filed additional charges on Wednesday against a Houston, Texas, man in connection with a two-year investigation into a series of “jugging” incidents.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department described “jugging” as a crime in which a perpetrator follows an individual after they leave a bank, waits until they leave their car unattended, and breaks into the vehicle to steal what was withdrawn.
