Brighton man sentenced for falsifying water records for moile home parks

HOWELL, Mich. (WJRT) – A Brighton man and his company have been sentenced after pleading to falsifying water safety tests for private water systems serving mobile home communities across Michigan, including Mid-Michigan.

Judge Matthew McGiveny sentenced 57-year-old Brian Powell to two years of probation. He also ordered his company, Douglas Environmental, to pay a $50,000 fine.
