GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — After a decade of business, a popular Grand Rapids bookstore is closing its doors this summer.
Books & Mortar, an independent bookstore located on Cherry Street, is set to close in early August. In a social media post Friday evening, the store’s owner thanked the community for their support throughout the years.
“I took over Books & Mortar in 2018 from two wonderful humans who founded it in 2016,” the owner wrote. “It has been part of my life for a long time, and the Books & Mortar team — along with the community that has sustained and supported this dream —means so much to me.”…
