PORTLAND, OR — The Pacific Northwest heat wave is expected to reach its peak Monday, with much of western Oregon and Washington climbing into the mid- to upper 90s. Forecasters say several locations could again challenge daily records as temperatures run far above normal.
Storm Tracker 2 meteorologist Bobby Corser said Monday’s highs will be 20 to 25 degrees above average and that readings may flirt with triple digits in some areas.
