COLUMBUS, OH (WLIO) – A new Ohio law will require both drivers and passengers to provide i-d’s to law enforcement during traffic stops.
Governor Mike DeWine recently signed the legislation into law. The measure requires drivers and passengers to provide their name, address and date of birth to law enforcement if they are pulled over. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor offense that could result in a $250 fine and potential jail time.
